How to correctly install and use the loading arm?
Loading arms are widely used in many industries, they are an excellent tool for transferring liquids and gases. Initially, loading arms were only used in the chemical industry, but with improvements in loading arm technology and societal progress, their performance has become more versatile, and their characteristics have been recognized across various industries, occupying an important position in many fields. When installing a loading arm, it is crucial to follow the appropriate standards. Special attention should be paid when connecting the loading arm to the fuel dispensing platform. Ensure that the connection between the platform and the loading arm is secure.
During installation, the horizontal short pipe should be connected to the foundation flange of the fuel dispensing platform. Afterward, connect the horizontal short pipe to the lifting arm. Once these preparations are complete, the balance mechanism can be installed, and the pull rods of the balance mechanism can be connected.
While installing the loading arm, particular attention should be paid to adjusting the balance mechanism within the specified range.
Additionally, ensure that each flange surface is cleaned to avoid any other substances affecting the installation. If there is a sealing groove, it's best to install the O-ring before making the connection.
How to use the loading arm?
During the entire operation process, ensure that the safety limit alarm system is sensitive and functional.
Before each loading and unloading operation, check whether all systems are working properly.

When operating the outer arm, avoid excessive force and apply even force.
When assembling the loading arm (fluid loading arm), refer to the working diagram. Install the components in the correct order, starting from the base rotator to the vertical aluminum pipe, from bottom to top, and finally install the balance mechanism.
During operation, do not use the balance mechanism as a force application point.
To adjust the balance force, place the fuel dispenser in a horizontal position, remove the end cover of the balance mechanism, and you will see the adjustment screw. If the loading arm tends to fall freely, tighten the screw with a socket wrench. If the loading arm tends to rise by itself, loosen the screw until the loading arm remains stable within a -5° to 60° range.
After connecting the loading arm to the tank truck, do not open the valve of the loading arm.
Do not start the loading and unloading system casually if you do not understand the working principle and operation steps of the loading arm (fluid loading arm), especially the valve of the loading arm assembly.
