1. Lightweight material with suitable strength for easier operation

The density of aluminum alloy is only about 1/3 that of steel. On the premise of ensuring the structural strength required for loading and unloading operations, it significantly reduces the overall weight of the loading arm. Aluminum alloy has good toughness and fatigue resistance. During long-term loading and unloading operations with repeated telescoping and rotation, it is not prone to metal fatigue fracture. Moreover, its surface has a low friction coefficient, so the moving parts of the loading arm (such as swivel joints and telescopic arms) suffer less wear. This can reduce equipment failures such as jamming and leakage, ensure continuous and stable loading and unloading processes, and lower the risk of sudden shutdowns.

From the perspective of the whole-life cycle cost, aluminum alloy loading arms have significant advantages:

Low initial installation cost: Lightweight means no need for heavy hoisting equipment, the installation process is simpler, and the construction period is shortened.

Low later maintenance cost: The corrosion resistance reduces the frequency of maintenance such as anti-corrosion and rust removal. When damaged parts need to be replaced, the lightweight material facilitates handling and installation.

Indirect energy consumption reduction: Due to its light weight, the motor power required to drive the loading arm can be smaller, which can save a small amount of energy in long-term use.
