Key Considerations for Selecting Skid-Mounted Refueling Units

I. First, Determine Three Core Parameters

1.Capacity Selection (m³)

(1)5/10 m³: Small vehicle fleets, temporary construction sites, agricultural machinery, small-scale logistics operations

(2)20/30 m³: Medium-sized vehicle fleets, concrete mixing plants, mining sites, ports

(3)50 m³: Large-scale logistics parks, extensive mining areas, airport ground support operations, long-term fixed refueling stations

(4)Principle: Tank capacity should be selected based on the Daily Refueling Volume multiplied by a Reserve Supply Duration of 2 to 3 days.

2.Media Types

(1)Diesel-Skid: Most common;relatively lower explosion-proof requirements.

(2)Gasoline Skid: Must feature barrier-type explosion protection + vapor recovery + enhanced safety measures.

(3)Jet Fuel / Ethanol Gasoline: Requires specialized sealing, corrosion resistance, and specific explosion-proof ratings.

3.Explosion-Proof Ratings & Safety Standards

(1)Mandatory Features:Barrier-type explosion-proof packing (HAN) + Double-walled tank + Leak detection system.

(2)Explosion-Proof Rating:Ex d ⅡB T4 or higher.

Compliance Requirements:Compliant with GB 50156, AQ3002, and other relevant standards.

II. Functional Configuration Options

1. Fuel Dispensing Unit

(1)Single-nozzle / Dual-nozzle / Quad-nozzle configurations.

(2)Flow Rate:45–80 L/min (High-flow rates recommended for heavy-duty trucks).

(3)Metering Accuracy:Within ±0.3%.

2. Management System

(1)IC card management, access control, quantitative fueling.

(2)Remote monitoring, real-time liquid level display, report generation.

(3)Anti-theft protection, anti-fraud measures, fuel consumption statistics.

3. Safety & Security System (Mandatory)

(1)Emergency shut-off valves.

(2)High-temperature / Over-pressure / Leakage alarms.

(3)Combustible gas detection.

(5)Automatic fire suppression system (Optional).

4. Environmental Protection Features

(1)Vapor recovery system (Mandatory for gasoline skids).

(2)Impermeable containment pit / Leak-proof bund (dike).

(3)Corrosion-resistant, weather-proof exterior casing.

III. Structure & Installation Formats

(1)Integrated Skid:Tank, dispensing unit, and safety systems are integrated into a single unit; small footprint, rapid installation.

(2)Split-System:Tank farm and dispensing unit are separated; suitable for large sites or industrial parks with stringent requirements.

(3)Mobile Unit:Features a base frame for crane lifting and relocation; suitable for construction sites or field operations.

IV. Materials & Environmental Adaptability

(1)Tank Body:Q345R pressure vessel steel plate; features both internal and external anti-corrosion treatment.

(2)Extreme Cold Regions: Heat tracing, thermal insulation, low-temperature-rated valves.

(3)Coastal / Salt-Spray Regions:Stainless steel piping + Enhanced anti-corrosion treatment.

V. Simplified Selection Guide

(1)Small Fleet / Agricultural Machinery :| 5–10 m³ | Single-nozzle, Diesel, Basic Safety Features

(2)Medium-sized Construction Site / Concrete Batching Plant :20–30 m³ ,Dual-nozzle,IC Card System Card Access & Leak Detection

(3)Large-scale Logistics / Mining: 30–50 m³, Four Dispensers, Vapor Recovery, Remote Monitoring

(4)Ports / Airports: 30–50 m³ ,Enhanced Explosion Protection, Corrosion Resistance, High Security
