The dry-break bottom loading arm is composed of loading arm, quick dry separation valve and other components. It is widely used in the bottom loading operations of tankers, and the connection method uses dry separation valve (commonly known as dry valve). The dry separation valve used in the product complies with the American Petroleum Institute API RP1004 standard and relevant national standards. The dry valve of the loading arm, also known as dry shut-off valve, API joint, dry separation valve, and bottom loading joint, is mainly used for the connection between the loading arm and the oil tank truck in the bottom closed system of the petroleum depot. Due to its self-sealing mechanism, it can basically achieve zero leakage during connection and separation, and is an important equipment in the oil and gas recovery process. The API dry valve is mainly composed of shell, inner tube, claw, main shaft, opening and closing plug, floating valve seat, cam, connecting rod, handle, locking bolt, wave spring, sealing ring, etc. It is connected to the end of the loading and unloading arm. In the non-working state, the dry valve is in a closed state to ensure that the medium inside the loading arm does not leak out.

 

Dry-break bottom loading arms are widely used in the bottom loading operations of road tankers. The connection with vehicles adopts API standard dry-break joints (commonly known as dry valves). Its main advantages are to avoid the volatilization of oil and gas during the loading process, improve the safety of loading, achieve zero leakage, and reduce air pollution. Foreign countries basically use bottom loading for vehicle loading. This closed loading is the future development trend of loading. Moreover, 4-6 units can be loaded on one trestle, which saves the construction of loading platforms.
