Male & Female Stainless Steel / Aluminum Quick Release Dry Break Dry Disconnect Coupling
1. Product Overview
The dry break dry disconnect coupling is a professional closed quick connection device specially designed for hazardous, volatile, toxic and corrosive fluid transfer. With built-in double self-sealing valve cores, it realizesleak-free connection and drip-free disconnection. It completely solves the problems of liquid dripping, volatile emission, environmental pollution and operator contact risks caused by traditional connectors.
Available in stainless steel and aluminum alloy versions, the coupling features lightweight structure, high corrosion resistance and anti-fatigue performance. It is widely matched with loading arms, metering skids and tanker unloading systems for petrochemical and chemical industries
.
2. Structure Composition
The full set consists of two independent parts:
Tank / Fixed Female End: installed on pipelines or loading arms, equipped with an integrated swivel function to eliminate pipeline torsion stress.

Hose / Movable Male End: connected with flexible hoses, with locking handle and independent valve core for fast operation.

3. Working Principle
Connection: Align male and female ends, rotate the handle 15° clockwise for self-locking, then rotate another 90° to fully open the double valve cores for fluid transmission.
Disconnection: Rotate the handle 90° counterclockwise to fully close both valve cores, then rotate 15° to unlock and separate. No dripping, no leakage and no volatile emission during disconnection.
4. Certification & Compliance
PED 97/23/EC EU Pressure Equipment Directive (Category II), approved for tank secondary isolation valves.
ATEX 94/9/EC Explosion-proof certification for non-electrical equipment, suitable for Zone 1 hazardous explosive areas.
WHG / DIBT German water resource safety approval for anti-pollution and leak-proof applications.
5. Applicable Media
Gasoline, aviation kerosene, toluene, xylene, benzene, styrene, formaldehyde, ethyl acetate, acrylate, ethylene oxide, epichlorohydrin, tetrahydrofuran, cyclohexanone, pyridine, phenol, isocyanate, dimethylamine, ethylene, sulfuric acid and other hazardous chemical fluids.
