What Are The Types Of Storage Tanks

Generally, the chemical industry will store chemicals in storage tanks, so it has to be said about storage tank equipment.
Storage tanks are widely used in North China, mainly for storing chemical substances extracted from acids, alkalis, alcohols, gases, liquids, etc. However, currently in China, the most widely used and mature production and installation technologies are arch roof tanks, floating roof tanks, and horizontal tanks. 1. Floating roof type
Floating roof storage tanks are composed of floating roofs and vertical cylindrical tank walls that float on the surface of the medium. The floating roof rises and falls with the increase or decrease of the storage capacity of the medium inside the tank. There is a circular sealing device between the outer edge of the floating roof and the tank wall, and the medium inside the tank is always directly covered by the inner floating roof, reducing the volatilization of the medium. It is divided into single disc floating roof and double disc floating roof.
2. Arched style
A dome roof storage tank refers to a steel container with a spherical crown at the top and a cylindrical body. Domed storage tanks are widely used in many industries both domestically and internationally due to their simple manufacturing and low cost.
3. Horizontal storage tank
Usually used in production or gas stations. Horizontal storage tanks adopt lap joints for circumferential welds and butt joints for longitudinal welds. The circle plates are arranged interactively, taking the odd number to make the end cover diameter the same.
