Vapor Adapters

Vapor Adapters is installed on the bottom side of the tank truck. When the oil and gas recovery is required for the tank truck to be filled with oil, the oil and gas delivery elbow is used to connect to the male end of the vapor adaptor. After unloading the oil, cover the male end of the oil and gas recovery adaptor with the oil and gas recovery cap to prevent the escape of oil and gas and prevent water, dust, etc.

 

Vapor Adapters is designed to mate with vapor recovery elbow.

It is for returning gasoline vapor to the fuel tank truck during fuel delivery to an underground tank.

1. Make sure that the vapor recovery system is properly installed and operational.

When you are ready to use the system, remove the vapor recovery cap from the adapter by gently pulling it off.

2. Insert the adapter into the fuel tank's vapor recovery port. Make sure that it is securely in place.

Once the adapter is in place, connect the other end of the hose to the fuel delivery truck.

Turn on the fuel pump and begin filling the tank. The vapor recovery system will automatically start working to capture any vapors that are generated during the filling process.

When the fueling is complete, turn off the pump and disconnect the hose from the adapter.

3. Finally, replace the vapor recovery cap on the adapter to prevent any vapors from escaping when it is not in use.
