These projects require approximately 20000 large diameter pipeline ball valves, small and medium-sized ball valves, and flat valves; We will also build 10-20 large-scale refineries with a capacity of tens of millions of tons, build, renovate, and expand a batch of large-scale ethylene plants with a capacity of 800000-1 million tons. There are also more than ten sets of approved and pending large-scale PTA plants with a capacity of 500000 to 600000 tons per year, which will provide a huge market for the valve industry; The construction of large-scale fertilizer and synthetic ammonia plants will also provide opportunities for the valve manufacturing industry; In addition, direct coal liquefaction is likely to form a new industry. Due to the high working temperature, pressure, and solid particle content of the coal direct liquefaction process medium, there are high requirements for valves, which will form an emerging market.
According to technical personnel in the valve industry, when developing these new electric ball valves, attention should be paid to the promotion and application of new process technologies. For example, when developing large-diameter integral ball valves for long-distance pipelines, integral welding technology should be used; In order to improve the corrosion and erosion resistance of valve sealing surfaces, a few manufacturers have started using the supersonic flame spraying tungsten carbide process. At the same time, attention should be paid to the use of nanoscale materials for coating modification of sealing surfaces and the development of laser cladding technology.
In addition, the cobalt chromium tungsten plasma wire feeding automatic surfacing welding process, which has been applied in the valve industry for many years, should continue to be promoted to replace manual welding and ensure the quality of valve sealing surfaces; In order to achieve automated control of engineering device process flow, the development of intelligent electric and hydraulic transmission device valves should be strengthened; Accelerate the development of new transmission methods such as magnetic drive, develop a new series of closed magnetic drive electric ball valves, eliminate leakage points between the valve stem and packing, and make them suitable for flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive media and pipelines that require locking and avoiding misoperation.
It is understood that 80% of large-scale ethylene equipment in China has been domestically produced, and high-temperature and high-pressure valves used for ethylene matching have also been domestically produced under Sinopec, with good results. The product quality and performance are superior to imported products. The localization office of Sinopec has expressed great confidence in promoting the localization of valves and believes that domestic backbone enterprises have the ability to undertake the task of tackling this project. After discussion among the attending representatives, it was unanimously agreed that the 1500 pound electric ball valve can be localized, and the 2500 pound electric ball valve can also be partially localized.
