AL2543 Liquid Ammonia Bottom Loading Arm (also known as Liquid Ammonia Bottom Loading/Unloading Arm, Liquid Ammonia Closed Transfer Loading Arm) is a special closed loading and unloading equipment designed specifically for liquid ammonia, a highly toxic, volatile, and corrosive medium. With the advantages of safety, reliability, strong adaptability, and compliance with standards, it is widely used in industries such as petroleum refining, fine chemicals, natural gas chemicals, coal chemical industry, and fertilizer production. It is an indispensable key supporting equipment in the liquid ammonia storage and transportation link, and also a core support for ensuring the safety, environmental protection, and efficiency of hazardous chemicals loading and unloading.

This loading arm eliminates the potential safety hazards of traditional hose loading and unloading, adopts rigid pipeline connection, and strictly complies with GB 11984-2024 "Technical Specification for Chlorine Safety in Chemical Enterprises" and HG/T21608-2012 "Technical Requirements for Liquid Loading and Unloading Arm Engineering". It meets the requirement of "prohibiting the use of hoses and forcing the use of universal pipeline filling systems" for hazardous chemicals filling, fundamentally preventing safety accidents and environmental pollution caused by liquid ammonia leakage and volatilization. It accurately solves the industry pain points such as poor sealing and inconvenient operation in liquid ammonia loading and unloading, adapts to the bottom loading and unloading scenario of liquid ammonia tank trucks, and realizes closed medium transfer.

It adopts a modular design, and its core components include column, swivel joint, inner/outer arm, breakaway valve, dry disconnect valve (or self-locking quick coupling), emergency shut-off valve, and vapor recovery pipe. The column provides stable support and bears the turning moment of the loading arm; the swivel joint is made of alloy steel and stainless steel, precision-processed with reliable sealing, and the sealing ring is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant; the breakaway valve can automatically separate and seal when the tank truck is accidentally displaced, avoiding the expansion of accidents; the vapor recovery pipe realizes closed circulation, prohibits direct discharge, which not only reduces loss but also meets environmental protection requirements.

The equipment has outstanding adaptability and operability. The spring cylinder balance system can realize hovering at any angle, allowing operators to complete docking easily; the outer arm can rotate flexibly, adapting to liquid ammonia tank trucks of different models and heights. It is equipped with an inner arm locking mechanism to improve safety and service life. The surface of the equipment is treated with sandblasting derusting and anti-corrosion spraying, which has strong corrosion resistance and can adapt to different environments such as chemical parks and coastal ports.

The key technical parameters are in line with the mainstream working conditions of the industry: the common nominal sizes are DN50 for liquid phase and DN25 or DN50 for vapor phase; the design pressure is 0.6-4.0MPa, covering the loading and unloading needs of most liquid ammonia tank trucks; the design temperature is -40℃~100℃, adapting to the conventional liquid ammonia storage and transportation scenarios. Overall, it meets the safety and efficiency requirements of closed liquid ammonia loading and unloading in industrial production.
