Pull off valve, also known as emergency release device, can prevent leakage accidents caused by accidental pipeline breakage. Its application areas include ship to shore unloading, tank loading and unloading on highways and railways, and other fixed and mobile fluid storage devices, such as crane pipes, fluid transfer arms, and connections between transportation carriers.
The pull off valve can be reused, and do not intentionally pull or rotate it vigorously during daily refueling.
If an unexpected pulling event occurs, it is necessary to collect the scattered parts after the disconnection as much as possible, do not discard them, and promptly notify the manufacturer's professional maintenance personnel, and use special tools for recovery according to operating procedures. Non professional personnel are not allowed to repair without authorization, in order to avoid failure to meet the requirements for tensile strength, leaving accident hazards or damage to the tensile valve.
If the components are damaged and cannot be restored, a new breakaway valve needs to be replaced.
Positive refueling should be maintained (i.e. the fuel tank port of the car is facing the fuel dispenser), and reverse refueling should be avoided (i.e. the fuel tank port of the car is facing away from the fuel dispenser), in order to avoid accidents caused by changes in direction and angle that may cause the pull off valve to not come off normally in unexpected situations.
