A loading skid integrates the instrumentation and equipment associated with a single fuel loading arm station onto a unified structural frame. This assembly encompasses all necessary components, including the loading arm, flow meter, static electricity alarm controller, pressure transmitter, flow control valve, emergency shut-off valve, explosion-proof transfer pump, electrical control cabinet, and instrumentation controllers. At the manufacturing facility, the loading skid undergoes complete instrumentation installation and electrical wiring; it is subjected to system strength and leak testing, functional testing, and data recording. Once the system successfully passes these tests, it is shipped as a complete, pre-assembled loading unit. Upon arrival at the project site, the system requires only final commissioning and verification to be certified as fully operational.
Upon reaching the user's construction site, the loading skid is hoisted as a single unit onto its designated foundation and secured via anchor bolts. The skid's inlet and outlet ports are then connected to the corresponding pre-installed process piping and electrical interfaces at the site. Once the process pipelines, power supply lines, and communication cables are connected-and integrated with the local control system-the unit requires only simple commissioning before being put directly into service.
The key advantages of this approach are: it significantly reduces the scope of on-site design and construction work, shortens the overall project timeline, and simultaneously enhances the quality and reliability of the loading control system.
